SmartPath Fitness ‘Champion’ Coaching

In my free report, titled ‘Protocols for Success: 5 Principles That Separate Those who Fail From Those Who Succeed!’, I describe the characteristics of a ‘Champion’.  A ‘Champion’ is a goal-achieving machine – a person who achieves the goals that they set for themselves.  This coaching program caters to people who are serious about living a healthy and fit lifestyle and, who are 100% committed to achieving their goals and making the most of themselves. 

SmartPath Fitness Champion Coaching is designed for clients who wish to be guided toward achieving their goals, using individually-tailored programs, but without the use of ongoing one-on-one sessions.  This option is more suitable for some clients because it is more affordable.  Also, coaching is ideal for long-distant clientele or clients who prefer to work out on their own (home or gym). 

Consultation (Goal-Setting)

The evaluation consists of body circumference measurements, body fat % testing and fitness level testing. This evaluation is completed periodically to track progress and to determine if goals have been met and surpassed.

Consultation (Evaluation)

The evaluation consists of body circumference measurements, body fat % testing and fitness level testing.

Body Circumference Measurements:

Body circumference measurements are taken to establish benchmarks.    If you have certain problem areas that you would like to reduce (or increase) in size, then these measurements will help determine the effectiveness of the program.  Seeing results in your measurements will help to motivate you to progress further and further.  Other practical methods include before and after pictures or simply seeing and feeling the difference of how your clothing fits.

Body Fat % Testing: 

Body Fat % testing also acts as a benchmark, determines program effectiveness and helps to motivate clients.  There are a number of ways to determine body fat percentage but skin-fold testing (using callipers) is one of the most reliable (provided that the practitioner utilizing the callipers is skilled).  When muscles are challenged, they become more conditioned and efficient at burning fat and the more fat they burn, the more visible your muscles will be.

Fitness Level Testing:

Fitness level testing consists of performing various exercises which will identify your current strengths and weaknesses.  Significant increases in core strength, flexibility, and endurance are just a few of the benefits you will experience when following functional training programs.

 

 

Program Design

Once your goals are set and your fitness levels are determined, Sal will design specific programs to ensure you get the positive results you want.  Advanced education and extensive experience has given Sal an exceptional ability to design the most efficient programs.  Sal will design new programs every 4-6 weeks.  Each program builds upon the previous program to ensure continuous progress and to avoid the common plateau effect.  This strategy is scientifically proven to get results.

Your program will include:

  • ► Specific stretches/mobilizations, based on the evaluation, to improve flexibility in tight muscles and range of motion in restricted joints (or regions of the spine).  This will ensure you develop a body that is toned but not rigid or stiff.  Below is an example of the program design format:

Program Instruction

Once a program has been designed, Sal will schedule an appointment with you where he will take you through the program.  In this instructional session, Sal will show you the correct way to perform each stretch and exercise to ensure you get the most out of every program.  In addition, Sal will answer all of your questions and address any of your concerns.

 

Telephone & Online Support

If you ever have questions or concerns about nutrition, exercise or lifestyle factors, simply give Sal a call and he will guide you. Also, Sal offers online support and will provide you with detailed visuals and a description of how to perform exercises correctly.




Program Progression

Sal incorporates periodization to ensure you achieve your goals.  Periodization is a scientifically proven approach that uses a series of customized programs.  This approach guarantees that you will avoid the plateau effect and always progress toward higher levels of fitness.
